Only 750 units of a numbered series will be available. Maxima is a model that was born in 2020 from the fusion between the LW (rounded shape created in 1995) and the Avant (teardrop shape created in 2009). As a result, we achieved a rounded teardrop-shaped racket, designed for players who seek control in their game without losing power. It is made with a bi-directional carbon tubular and Hypersoft foam core of medium hardness - corresponding to our Winter and Summer (W/S). The core is laminated with a woven layer of 12K carbon fiber, a second layer of plain woven 3K carbon fiber and a third layer of thin glass fiber. Its core and frame are reinforced with 3K plain weave carbon fiber. All these materials are impregnated with Varlion's exclusive VAR-FLEX epoxy resin for maximum elasticity and strength, and coated with a layer of titanium dioxide. Thanks to Aerodynamic Drilling, turbulence is reduced, offering greater resistance in the core and greater stability during hitting cause the centre of the racket flexes less.
