Bestpadel Review
The Varlion LW Carbon Ti Magnolia is a suitable option for intermediate players seeking a balanced, all-round racket with a focus on control. Its round shape and low balance point, coupled with a medium core and surface firmness, create a forgiving feel that assists in shot placement. In our testing, we found this racket to be particularly approachable, with a low difficulty rating of 5.3/10, making it a good choice for those looking to refine their game without needing maximum power. During play, we observed that the LW Carbon Ti Magnolia truly shines in control, which we rate at 7/10. This is supported by its carbon fiber and fiberglass surface material and EVA Hypersoft core, contributing to a consistent ball response. While it offers respectable spin at 6.6/10 due to its textured surface, power delivery is moderate, earning a 5.5/10 in our assessment. The weight range of 345-370g provides a stable feel without being overly demanding, aligning with its intermediate player target. Overall, the Varlion LW Carbon Ti Magnolia is a well-rounded racket for players prioritizing precision and feel over raw power. Its construction offers a solid foundation for consistent play, and we attributed its durability a score of 6.7/10. Manufacturer's Description
Advanced level Varlion padel racket with a round shape that privileges control over power. It is made using a bi-directional tubular carbon. Its core is made of EVA Hypersoft with a medium hardness of 38mm and is laminated by layers of different fiberglass and carbon fiber fabrics, impregnated in Varlion’s exclusive VAR-FLEX epoxy resin for maximum elasticity and resistance, and covered by a layer of titanium dioxide. Thanks to Aerodynamic Drilling, turbulence is reduced, offering greater resistance in the core and greater stability during hitting cause the centre of the racket flexes less. This generates an increase in the sweet spot of the racket. In turn, Slice technology (new rough texture) has been applied to the hitting surface through the 3D direct screen printing system, to help the player to apply effects on the ball more effectively. This racket is designed with a Hexagon frame to give greater rigidity and resistance and it’s protected by the adhesive injected Hexagon bumper. This bumper is produced through a low hardness TPU injection mold to absorb bumps and chafing. On the other hand, in its heart we find a bridge called Hexaforce, which gives the area more rigidity. And finally, it is worth highlighting the Handlesafety technology, a new safety system for the handle. Normally, in all rackets the rope comes out from a centered hole which is attached to the handle frame by means of a pin, rivets, nails, etc. However, with this system, the rope goes through the two walls of the handle and comes out on both sides of the tip, thus giving 100% safety and comfort to the grip.
