Bestpadel Review
The StarVie Triton Speed 2.0 is a teardrop-shaped racket designed for competition-level players seeking an all-rounder with a focus on speed and spin. Its high balance point and hard 3K carbon fiber surface, combined with a soft EVA Ultra Soft core, provide a unique feel. In our testing, we found that this combination helps generate significant ball speed, while the textured surface contributes to excellent spin potential, which we rate at 7.8/10. Despite its relatively soft core, the firm surface allows for decisive shots. We attribute its power at 6.8/10 and control at 5.1/10. Weighing between 350-380g, this racket is geared towards adult players who possess a developed technique to manage its demanding characteristics. We rate its difficulty at 7.7/10, suggesting it’s best suited for those comfortable with a high-balance racket and seeking to leverage spin and shot speed in their offensive game. Its durability is rated at 7.8/10, indicating a robust build for sustained play, though its value for money, in our assessment, comes in at 5/10. We invite players who have experience with the Triton Speed 2.0 to share their thoughts and observations in the comments section below.
Manufacturer's Description
Triton Speed is the softer of the two Triton rackets, but despite this, it offers considerable speed thanks to the stiff hitting surface with double layers of Carbon 3K. Together with Starvie's characteristic texture, you get substantial speed and can impart plenty of spin on the ball. The softer core provides better control and makes this a teardrop-shaped offensive all-around racket.
