The Head Zephyr UL is designed as an accessible all-rounder, particularly well-suited for beginners and junior players transitioning to an adult racket. Its standout feature is its remarkably low weight of 340 grams, making it one of the lightest models available. This contributes significantly to its ease of handling, which we found to be a key benefit during play. The round shape and soft core, made from Comfort foam, also enhance its user-friendliness on court. In our testing, the Zephyr UL demonstrated a focus on comfort and maneuverability over raw power. We attributed its power at 4.3/10, reflecting that while it provides enough for basic play, it requires more player effort for powerful shots. Control, however, scored higher at 5.9/10, which we found beneficial for placing the ball accurately. The combination of carbon fiber and fiberglass in the frame, along with a medium surface firmness, offers a forgiving feel, especially on off-center hits.
