The Oxdog Hyper Pro, with its teardrop shape and high balance, offers a noticeable boost in offensive plays. We found it quite effective for generating pace on smashes and volleys, and we attributed its power a score of 6.9/10 in our testing. While it excels in offensive situations, the high balance combined with its 370g weight makes it a demanding racket to maneuver quickly, particularly in defensive scrambles. We rated its difficulty at 8.1/10, suggesting it’s better suited for experienced players who can handle its characteristics. The medium firmness of both the HES Carbon Fiber surface and foam core provides a responsive feel, contributing to the 7/10 spin rating we observed. The textured surface certainly helps grip the ball. Control, however, is a trade-off for the power, with our team rating it 5.5/10. It requires precise execution to keep shots tight. Overall, this 2023 model, built with a carbon fiber frame, is designed for competition-level play where an all-rounder with an emphasis on power is desired.
