The Drop Shot Bronco offers a comfortable feel right from the first swing, blending a round shape with a medium balance for approachable handling. We found its 350-375g weight to contribute to a stable sensation on impact. Its unique combination of an 18K carbon fiber surface and a soft EVA Soft core creates an interesting dynamic, providing a firm feel on the ball while still offering some cushioning. In our testing, we observed that this racket truly shines in its ability to generate spin, for which we attributed it an 8.3/10. The textured surface definitely plays a role here. For control, we rate it at a solid 7.2/10, making it a reliable choice for precise placements. While its power score is 5.2/10, we found it sufficient for a defensive playstyle, which is where this racket truly excels. We also noted its durability, rating it at 8.1/10. Despite its advanced material composition, we rate its difficulty at 5.4/10, making it quite accessible for a beginner player. Overall, the Bronco is a well-rounded option for players seeking a control-oriented racket with excellent spin potential and noteworthy durability. It is particularly suited for a defensive playstyle, making it a good choice for adult beginners looking to develop their game with a forgiving yet responsive tool. Manufacturer's Description
Drop Shot Bronco is a new control racket from the top segment of Drop Shot's range. The racket combines a soft core with an 18k carbon fiber surface, and although the racket's head shape is round, the choice of materials and the neutral weight balance allow for powerful shots in offense. In the core of the racket, Drop Shot has used ""broken angles"" to minimize vibrations upon impact and make the striking surface more durable. Several of the most groundbreaking technologies have been utilized in the manufacturing, including the Smart Holes System and Textrem Technology, which contribute to a unique feel with every ball hit. The racket is aimed at advanced padel players who value quality, performance, and durability. Something new is also the visual design; depending on the angle and the light reflection on the racket, different colors can appear.
