The Adidas Metalbone HRD 3.3, with its oversized diamond shape and high balance, is clearly geared towards players who prioritize power. We found its harder feel, stemming from the aluminized carbon fiber surface and Eva High Memory core, translates into a very direct response on impact. This rigidity, combined with a weight range of 345-360g, allows for considerable ball speed, which is why we attributed it a 9.5/10 for power in our tests. This racket truly shines when driving the ball from the back of the court or finishing points at the net. Given its design for aggressive play, we observed that control requires a skilled hand, rating it at 5.6/10. It is a racket that rewards precise technique, and its higher difficulty score of 8.6/10 reflects that. However, the textured surface does assist with adding spin, for which we gave it 7.8/10. The Metalbone HRD 3.3 is certainly a competition-level racket built for adult players with an attacking playstyle. Its durability we rated at 7.8/10, though its value for money came in at 4.6/10, which is something to consider.
