Bestpadel Review
At the net, the Gravity Pro Nordic Edition Windahl offers very good control for volleys and precision shots, which we attribute to its round shape and low balance. From the baseline, we found it excels in defensive play, allowing for consistent placement and depth. The soft hybrid carbon surface and Control Foam core contribute to a comfortable feel, and we rate its control at 8.1/10. While not a power-focused racket, scoring 4.8/10 for power in our tests, its textured surface provides good grip for spin, which we rated at 7.4/10. This racket, with its 355-375g weight range and soft core firmness, is well-suited for competition-level adult players who prioritize precision and control in their game. We classify it as a defender's racket, ideal for those who build points and manage the pace from the back of the court. We rated its difficulty at 6.2/10, suggesting it requires a reasonable level of skill to maximize its potential. The durability received a score of 6.7/10 in our assessment, and its value for money came in at 4.4/10. If you have played with this racket, we would appreciate it if you could share your thoughts and experiences in the comments below.
Manufacturer's Description
Introducing Head Gravity Pro Nordic Edition 2024, a brand new, exclusive version of Gravity Pro, designed by Daniel Windahl for the Nordic market. The basics that many players appreciated with the Gravity series, i.e. the round shape, the precision and the ability to control the game still form the base, but the model has received a major update both technically and visually. To begin with, the new Head Gravity Pro Nordic Edition 2024 has been equipped with Auxetic 2.0, which means that the special construction that creates a unique hit feeling is now found in both the grip and the handle. The Soft Butt Cap, a softer two-component material that replaces the traditional handle knob, has also been added, which reduces vibrations and prevents injuries and blisters in the hands. The racket also has a new foam, Control Foam, which increases the sweet spot and provides even better precision in shots such as bandeja or chiquita. The most prominent novelty, apart from the unique appearance, is the hitting surface, which has received a new rough type of coating that can be compared to sandpaper. With it comes increased grip and the possibility of more spin. Underneath the new paint is a hitting surface made of carbon fiber and glass fiber that combines the best properties of each material. The new Gravity Pro Nordic Edition 2024 is also 5 grams lighter than its predecessor, now 365g, and has a lower balance, 260mm, for increased maneuverability and control. Feel every stroke and gain more confidence in your game with Auxetic 2.0 technology, located both in the grip and in the grip. The unique construction reacts actively and provides super fast and precise feedback. Control Foam improves the sweetspot and gives extra precision for shots like bandeja or chiquita.Spin Surface generates extra spin with the new rough lacquer technology that gives extra grip when hitting the ball. The new soft buttcap, made of two-component material, provides a comfortable and soft feel, dampens vibrations and reduces pressure, preventing injuries and blisters.
