Bestpadel Review
The LOK Maxx Flow, a round-shaped racket weighing between 360 and 375 grams with a medium balance, offers a balanced feel on court. Its 18K carbon fiber surface, which we found to be quite firm, provides a crisp response, especially on impacts. We rate its control at 7.1/10, making it a reliable choice for precise shot placement. While its power score is 6.4/10, it's not designed for extreme power, instead focusing on a more controlled output. The textured surface really shines for spin, with us attributing it a high 8.8/10, making it easier to add effect to the ball. In our testing, the medium core firmness and custom EVA material provided a consistent feel across various shot types. The Maxx Flow’s 38 mm carbon fiber frame feels robust, and we rate its durability at an impressive 8.5/10, suggesting it will withstand the rigors of regular play. We classified it as an all-rounder, suitable for competition-level adult players who appreciate a racket that offers a good blend of control and spin. Its difficulty rating of 7.1/10 indicates it requires a reasonable level of player skill to fully leverage its characteristics. Overall, the Maxx Flow performs as a dependable option for players seeking a racket with strong control and excellent spin capabilities, with good resilience. We invite players who have experience with the Maxx Flow to share their thoughts and observations below.
Manufacturer's Description
The padel racket of Bea Caldera, the Maxx Flow, is an innovative racket designed to deliver exceptional on-court performance. One of the main features of the Maxx Flow is the asymmetric core, a carbon structure, which provides excellent rigidity and stability. This allows for optimal energy transfer on every shot, maximizing power without sacrificing control. Additionally, the racket features a C18 carbon layer, offering greater durability and a more consistent response on each hit. Moreover, the 3D Spin Lines system increases ball rotation, thus enhancing spin and improving the feeling of control. The Maxx Flow is designed with a medium balance, providing a perfect equilibrium between power and maneuverability. It includes Carbon Reinforcements - carbon reinforcements - that support the durability of the racket's structure and a Dynamic Holes System with a progressive arrangement of holes of different sizes that enhance the power of the stroke. It also features the Confort Wristband system, which is an adjustable wristband.
