Bestpadel Review
At the net, we found this racket offers good maneuverability for volleys and trays, with its low balance and round shape aiding quick reactions. From the baseline, its control really stands out; we rate its control at 7.7/10, making it quite forgiving for defensive play and precision shots. The textured 3K fiberglass surface, combined with a medium-firm HR3 core, helps generate decent spin, which we rated at 6.6/10 in our testing. This 2023 Equation WPT model weighs between 360-375g, fitting a broad range of players, and its 38mm carbon fiber frame contributes to a solid feel. While its power score is 5/10, making it less suited for aggressive smashers, it truly shines for those who prioritize placement and consistency. We attributed it a difficulty score of 6.6/10, suggesting it’s manageable for a competitive adult player looking for a reliable and versatile option. Overall, the Equation WPT is a well-rounded choice for players who value control and defensive capabilities. If you've had a chance to play with this racket, we'd appreciate hearing your thoughts in the comments.
Manufacturer's Description
Equation WPT is a well-balanced racket with an anti-vibration system that reduces the risk of injury. This is an easy-to-play racket with a large ""sweet spot"" thanks to a core of HR3 (which is used in more advanced models) and a hitting surface made of fiberglass. The racket also has texture on the hitting surface to provide additional grip on the ball and increased precision in slow play near the net. This combination makes this racket perfect for those who want to develop their game with a versatile racket. Nox models are equipped with smartstrap. Smartstrap, as it sounds, is a system designed to make it easier for the player to replace the wrist strap on their padel racket as desired.
