According to our tests, we attributed it a power rating of 7.3/10, which aligns with its construction. However, this firmness does mean a slightly smaller sweet spot and, consequently, a higher demand for precise technique. In terms of playability, we rate its control at 5.5/10 and spin at 5.6/10. While it can generate good pace, placing the ball with extreme accuracy or imparting heavy spin consistently requires a skilled hand. This is reflected in its difficulty rating of 8.1/10 in our assessment, suggesting it’s best suited for competition-level players comfortable with a demanding racket. Its weight range of 355-370g contributes to its stability, which is beneficial in resisting opponent’s power shots, and we found its durability to be solid, rating it at 7.8/10. Overall, the Enebe Response Alu is an all-rounder for the advanced player looking for a robust frame that delivers on power, provided they have the technique to manage its firmness. Its value for money is rated 5.6/10, considering its $270 price point and target audience.
