The Explorer Pro Comfort 1.0 positions itself as a round-shaped racket designed for the beginner player, emphasizing control and ease of use. With a low balance and a softer core made from EVA Soft Low Density, we found it very forgiving on off-center hits. Its 3K carbon fiber surface, which is textured, contributes to what we rate as a solid 7/10 for spin, allowing for good ball manipulation for its target audience. The weight range of 360-370g felt comfortable and manageable during extended play sessions. In our testing, the racket truly shines in its control aspects, which we attributed an 8/10. This makes it an excellent choice for those focusing on precise shot placement rather than raw power, for which we rated it 4.5/10. The soft core and medium firmness surface work together to provide a comfortable feel upon impact, minimizing vibration and enhancing touch. We also observed a low difficulty rating of 4.9/10, making it very accessible for players just starting out or those preferring a more defensive playstyle. Its durability scores a respectable 7/10, suggesting it will withstand regular play well. Overall, the Explorer Pro Comfort 1.0 is a well-rounded option for new players prioritizing control and comfort. It offers a gentle introduction to carbon fiber rackets without being overly demanding. If you've had a chance to play with this racket, we'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
Manufacturer's Description
Within the Ambition line, we can find the rackets of our three players, but in a lower range; especially aimed at all those intermediate/advanced level players who enjoy padel as a sport and lifestyle. The Drop Shot Explorer Pro Comfort 1.0 is the model of our professional player Lucas Campagnolo, adapted to a lower range. Its great reception is understood by its commitment to high-quality materials, the selection of the most innovative technologies in its production process, and its modern and timeless design. The model has been manufactured in 3K Carbon; bi-directional flat carbon with 3,000 filaments per carbon thread to make the faces of high-range rackets, thus achieving excellent playability and extra resistance. We have chosen the Eva Soft rubber, the least hard rubber, whose main property is the sensation of power. The line of our player Lucas Campagnolo has been a complete success this season, and it's not surprising since its design and style stand out at first glance. Yellow predominates throughout the racket, and details in black and red add extra value. The Drop Shot logo is stamped over the silhouette of Campa's logo. A youthful, bold style with a lot of character.
