Bestpadel Review
The Vertex 02 Avant Limited Edition from Bullpadel is constructed with a carbon fiber frame, providing a solid foundation. Its surface is made from Fibrix, a blend of fiberglass and carbon fiber, which we found offers a softer feel upon impact. Inside, the MultiEVA Adaptia core features a medium firmness, designed to respond differently depending on the shot speed. We observed its rough surface texture contributes to ball grip, which, in our testing, translated to good spin generation. During play, we noted the diamond shape and high balance of this 365-380g racket lend themselves well to power plays. According to our tests, it scores well for power, which we rate at 7.1/10. For spin, we attributed it 7.2/10. While it delivers effectively on power, its control rating, at 5.3/10, suggests it requires a more precise touch. This is reflected in its difficulty score of 8.6/10, indicating it is best suited for competition players who can handle its demands. We found it to be an all-rounder that leans towards an offensive style, and we rated its durability at 7.4/10. Overall, this model is geared towards adult players with a competition background. We rated its value for money at 6.4/10, considering its $220 price point. If you have played with the Vertex 02 Avant Limited Edition, we would appreciate hearing your thoughts in the comments below.
Manufacturer's Description
This limited edition of the Vertex series is aimed at players with an offensive playing style who want maximum power without giving up control. Thanks to the diamond shape and high balance, you get great speed in your smashes and overheads. The frame is built with 100% carbon fiber, providing high stiffness and direct response. The core consists of MultiEva/Adaptia foam with two different densities — the outer layer for maximum power during fast strokes and the inner layer for improved control during slower strokes. The surfaces are made of Fibrix (carbon + glass fiber) with a 3D Grain structure for extra grip on the ball and better spin. Overall, the racket suits players who position themselves at the net or have an offensive baseline game and want to produce strokes with high impact — and also appreciate the details in a limited design.
